1991: Mike, an Youth Academy product, made his league debut for Manchester City. He soon established himself as a regular member of the first team, and was also Capped eleven times for the English U-21. 26/8 1994: Mike left Manchester City for Norwich in a deal worth £800,000. October 1995: After never really established himself with the Canaries Mike moved on to Stoke City in exchange for Keith Scott. Mike was a revelation with the Potters, scoring 15 times in 28 games, and becoming a big favourite with the Stoke fans. 1/7 1997: QPR signed Mike for £2,5 million after racing with WBA and Everton for his signature. 27/1 1999: Mike joined Barnsley in a deal worth £1,5 million. 12/5 2003: Mike was released by Barnsley. 31/7 2003: Mike was signed on free transfer by Blackpool. 5/8 2004: Macclesfield Town have signed striker Mike Sheron. The ex Manchester City, Bury, Norwich, Stoke, QPR, Barnsley and Blackpool front man had been on trial at Coca Cola League 2 side Chester City. But Brian Horton has stepped in and grabbed his signature ahead of Saturday's opener against Orient.
