Shaleum is a graduate of Man City's Youth Academy and is the younger brother of Carlos Logan, who plays for Altrincham F.C. He is a skilled defender that can also play in midfield. He rose to prominence in 2005/06 with some fine displays for both the reserves and the Under 18 side during their run to the FA Youth Cup final that season. The following season was ruined by a serious leg injury, but he battled back to full fitness and was included in the senior squad by Manager Sven-Göran Eriksson during the pre-season warm up games at the start of the 2007/08 season. Shaleum was one of the surprised during the pre-season tour and even scored a goal against Swedish club Örgryte. Shortly after he signed a new three year contract with the club, and just a day later he made his first team debut in the Carling Cup win over Bristol City. He followed this up with another Carling Cup appearance against Norwich before moving to Grimsby Town on loan for a month in October 2007. Apart from football one of Shaleums greatst interests is music, and he is also a gifted guitar player. Provided by: Svenn A.
