Malaysia is a soccer-mad nation. Everywhere you go you will meet soccer fans of the usual bunch of idiots (reds) but I have been a City fan since I watched the first ever City game vs. Asto Villa in 1972 F.A. Charity Shield finals. I remember City winning 1-0 with Francis Lee scoring the winner. For the past 26 years, supporting City has been really great because there is something special about our team that I cannot put my finger on...it just give me a great feeling inside.

Whenever I wear my City kit, I get stares from people who do not understand the value of supporting the best club in the world. I oftimes still wonder am I the only City fan in a nation of 20 million people ? But I really don't mind because I love City no matter what happens this season (relegation ?). My dream is that one day I will stand in the Kippax at Maine Road and cheer us on as we lift up the Premier League Trophy which I sincerely believe we deserve to win after so may years without a championship. I wish to link up with any South East Asia City fans because I know that we are supporting the no.1 team in the world.
