Welcome to MCIVTA

The newsletter "Manchester City Info Via the Alps" (MCIVTA or "McVittee") was stablished on September 7th 1994 by Ashley Birch, and the webpage "The Supporters Homepage" on November 4th the same year by Svenn A. Hanssen. This was the first ever web-page dedicated to Manchester City FC. Since then nearly 2000 issues of the newsletter has been composed and distributed to many thousand fans all over the world. In the early days of the information age MCIVTA became known as a unique and strong voice from City-fans to other City-fans and even treasured as an information source by fans of the opposition.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of "MCIVTA" and the "Supportes Homepage" the site will be undergo a major upgrade to lift MCIVTA to the latest standards. The new service will be launced on September 7th 2014.
